I really think it's muscle that's causing the increase, Brenda. And it's not the longest plateau. I remember one of my aerobics students going 6 weeks with no weight loss but a small amount of weight gain. She was frustrated but she also went down a size in those 6 weeks. So, see? She had increased her workouts and stayed the same in her diet and lost inches but not pounds.
